Reviews:
“The power of Susan Jiwey’s singing as Alcina is more than matched by her acting and stage ability.”
Camden New Journal - 21 April 2005 (correction printed 29 April 2005)

“Due to the sudden indisposition of one of the soloists the last minute addition of the recording artist Susan Jiwey sang scenes from Mozart’s Zauberflöte…Ms. Jiwey was a name unfamiliar to me. I observed her singing as being exemplary and her singing presence was enjoyable to everyone present if the enthusiastic applause from the audience carries any indication. I couldn’t fault much in her production of both sound quality as well as interpretative merits.”
Stephen Bennett, Clapham Festival of Music and Arts - June 2004

”The Pamina, Susan Jiwey, gave a heart-rending account of Pamina's aria, and throughout sang with full, exciting voice and total commitment to her role. Throughout, her performance was very impressive indeed. [Her] performance would grace any stage."
David Selig, OperaTalent - May 2004

“Susan Jiwey in turn excelled in her most dramatic pieces, ranging from Verdi and Bellini to a delightful group of Portuguese salon songs. She entered fully into the emotional twists and turns of each piece, and combined vivid characterisation with exhilarating vocal range and intensity.”
Ben Ridler, Dolellgau Music Club - November 2003 (www.dolgellaumusicclub.org.uk)
