PAUL BRAY became interested in singing while at Oxford University, and then sang for ten years with the London Philharmonic Choir and the Special Service Choir of St Paul's Cathedral.

His operatic roles have included Bartolo and Antonio The Marriage of Figaro, Masetto and the Commendatore Don Giovanni, Baron de Kelbar Un Giorno di Regno, Crespel and Schlemil The Tales of Hoffmann, Angelotti and Sciarrone Tosca, Nourabad The Pearl Fishers, Monterone Rigoletto, Zuniga Carmen, Alcindoro La Boheme, the Bonze Madam Butterfly, Speaker, Second Armed Man and Second Priest The Magic Flute, Dr Grenvil La Traviata, Badger The Cunning Little Vixen, the Alcalde The Force of Destiny, the Doctor Macbeth and the Notary The Sorcerer, for Aquarian Opera, Croydon Concert Opera, Kentish Opera, Mozart 2000 Plus, Opera Nova, Opera Options, Sevenoaks Opera and Surrey Opera.

Paul has also performed staged extracts as Sarastro The Magic Flute, Ramphis Aida, Colonel Frank Die Fledermaus, Lodovico Otello, the Mandarin Turandot and Foltz The Mastersingers, and understudied Colline La Boheme, Morales Carmen and Styx Orpheus in the Underworld

His concert appearances have included bass soloist in Haydn's Creation and Pontius Pilate St John Passion.

His straight acting credits range from Gonzalo The Tempestand Major Petkoff Arms and the Man to Doctor Seward Count Dracula and McLeavy Loot.
