NICHOLAS BARTLETT took Violin and Piano lessons as a child and studied composition with Philip Grange while at Exeter University. At the same time he started singing lessons with Carolyn Harries and continued his studies in Milan, where he spent six years teaching English.

Whilst studying with Letizia Marchini del Campo and after with Giancarlo Uggetti, he sang with Coro Rosetum in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Tosca, Nabucco, La traviata, Cavalleria Rusticana, Rigoletto, Il Trovatore and Carmen. He took part in many concerts and recitals as a soloist and sang comprimario parts with small-scale professional companies. He also attended master-classes on Bellini arias and German lieder with Lydia Styx.

After returning to the U.K. he has sung in Manon Lescaut, Ballo in Maschera and La traviata and now studies with Jennifer Caron in Ealing.
